I think weather is a worry to almost every bride and groom, especially if their wedding is supposed to be outside! Not for Lindsay and Nathan. Driving to the top of Skyline Drive on the afternoon of their wedding, the skies were darkening, there was thunder and lightening, and I started to worry about my bride and groom. As I drove up to the location of their wedding, there were people scampering everywhere with umbrellas. There were people outside deconstructing the arch and chairs for the ceremony that had been set up with a breath taking view of the mountains. I started to worry more. I then entered a small room where they had moved the ceremony. There were people on top of people. Lindsay and Nathan were bright eyed and excited to be getting married. They didn’t care about the weather. They were in a room with all the people they loved the most (including their dogs) and they were about to become husband and wife… and this was the most important thing to them! Their ceremony was fun and loving. People were laughing, smiling, and happy to be part of their day. I loved being able to be there to capture it all…
