A couple of weekends ago I met up with Liz and Clarke and we drove to Montpelier for their engagement session. Everything was perfect… the leaves, the weather, the light, the location, the COUPLE! Liz and Clarke are both graduates of James Madison University so the home where James and Dolley Madison lived is pretty special to them. The mansion and grounds were absolutely stunning! We had a great time that day and I am so excited for their wedding next year!

What have I been up to lately? Well, I have been a very busy lady to say the least. The most exciting thing I’ve been up to is rebranding my business. I’ve spent the last year collecting little tidbits of design that I think represent myself as a photographer. It’s been incredibly fun, but I must admit… I am so impatient about it! I am on the edge of my seat just ready to show everyone my new website and logo! Ahhhh… but until then, I have some things to distract me. Like the fact that it’s my favorite season. Today, the leaves are the perfect color, I’ve had chili in the crock-pot all day, and tonight we are carving pumpkins! Good times. Good times.

My new site will be up soon, but in the meantime here’s what I’ve been up to.

Brittany + Andrew | Engaged

Brittany is quite possibly one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. She has an amazingly beautiful smile and personality. I am very excited to be able to share her engagement session with you. Brittany and Andrew are getting married next month and are such an adorable couple. We had a blast walking around Broadway the other day. They had me laughing non-stop! I wish them the best for their wedding and new life together!

Angela + Travis | Engaged

This past weekend I met up with Angela and Travis at their alma mater, James Madison University for their engagement session. Although they didn’t meet in college, they both share memories of the beautiful campus so the quad was the perfect place for it! The weather was gorgeous and Angela and Travis were so sweet and fun to work with. I’m very much looking forward to their wedding next month!

Kalena and Peter are the type of clients that I fall in love with quickly. They are so in love and excited about their upcoming wedding!
